ADSEA INNOVATIONS SL is responsible for the content of this website and is the controller for any personal data processed through it.

What the converter does with your file

Nothing leaves your browser. The converter is JavaScript that runs on your own device. The file you choose is read from disk into memory on your machine, converted there, and written back out as a download.

It is never uploaded to this site, never sent to any third party, and never stored anywhere by us. We do not see it and we do not receive it. Closing or reloading the page discards it. There is no account, no signup and no usage record.

Cookies, storage and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, tracking or profiling of any kind. There is no advertising pixel, no session cookie and no visitor identifier.

One thing is stored on your device, and only if you buy a licence: a single entry in your browser's local storage, named ffg.licence, holding the licence key that unlocks larger feeds. Without it you would have to prove your purchase again on every visit. It is readable only by this site, is never transmitted back to us once issued, and you can remove it at any time with the Remove this licence link shown beside the export buttons, or by clearing site data in your browser.

That entry is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, so under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive it does not require consent, and no cookie banner is shown. Nothing else is written to your device.

The typeface used here is hosted on our own servers. It is not loaded from Google Fonts or any other external source. The site embeds no advertising pixels, no social plugins, no maps and no video embeds.

If you buy a licence

Payment is not handled here. Buying opens a checkout on our shop at thomaseccel.com, which runs on Shopify. Your name, email address, billing details and payment data are collected there, by Shopify Inc. (151 O'Connor Street, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8, Canada) acting as our processor under Article 28 GDPR. We never see your card details. Shopify's own privacy terms apply to that checkout in addition to this page.

When a payment succeeds, Shopify notifies this site and we record three things so that your licence can be issued: the order number, a one way cryptographic digest of the email address used at checkout, and which tier was bought. Nothing else. No name, no address, no payment information, and nothing about the feed you converted.

Your email address itself is not stored here. The digest is keyed with a secret that never leaves the server, so it can confirm that an address you type matches the one that paid, but it cannot be turned back into an address by us or by anyone who obtained the store. This is pseudonymisation within the meaning of Article 4(5) GDPR. The order in our Shopify account remains the record of who bought what.

Purpose: to issue the licence you paid for, and to let you retrieve it again if you lose it.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of the contract you entered into by purchasing.

Retention: these records are held in Cloudflare Workers KV and deleted automatically after 90 days. The order itself remains in our Shopify account for as long as Spanish commercial and tax law requires. If you need a key after 90 days, write to us and we will reissue it from the order.

Bookkeeping: the sale is also recorded in our accounting system, Holded (Holded Technologies S.L., Barcelona, Spain), which holds the invoice and the billing details Shopify collected, as required by Spanish commercial and tax law. Holded is engaged as a processor under Article 28 GDPR and operates within the European Union.

Abuse prevention: when a licence is claimed, a keyed digest of the requesting IP address is held for one hour to cap repeated failed attempts. The address itself is not stored, and the digest is discarded automatically. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in preventing other people's licences from being guessed.

Transfers: Cloudflare and Shopify both operate outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Refunds

Licences are sold through our shop, and the shop's refund policy applies: a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no reason required. That is more generous than the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, so nothing is asked of you at checkout and no right is waived.

Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically records technical data each time a page is requested. This is standard for any web server and is necessary to deliver the site:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• The page or file requested, and the HTTP status returned
• Browser type and version, and operating system
• Referring URL, where your browser sends one

Purpose: delivering the site reliably, maintaining security, and defending against attacks and abuse.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating a secure and functioning website. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors or to build profiles. These log entries record the page request only. They tell us nothing about the contents of any file you convert.

Processor: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which also acts as a content delivery network and may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors. Cloudflare is engaged as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. Because Cloudflare is established in the United States, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to contact@thomaseccel.com. We respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lead authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain, www.aepd.es.
